aerial yoga center

Just Breathe Yoga Center is excited to announce that we will soon add Aerial Yoga classes to our schedule.  Aerial Yoga will help you experience your practice in a whole new way!  No experience required and all levels are welcome!

Aerial Yoga utilizes a silk fabric hammock as a prop to access traditional yoga poses.  You can adjust the level of class to your comfort, from relaxing in the hammock during guided meditation to hanging upside down for the benefit of a supported inversion.  The fabric is made out of 100% silk and will be washed after every class.  Every portion of the Aerial Yoga Swing is able to hold over 300 pounds and the support points of the swing mount to the ceiling were installed by a professional contractor under the recommendations of a structural engineer.

Aerial is not your conventional yoga class. Students can expect familiar postures like Tree Pose and Down Dog, but from entirely new angles and heights.  The classes will focus on strength, balance, flexibility, and mobility, before ending with a cocooned savasana!
